   'Banshee' season 4 news: Eliza Dushku joins the show for final run

   "Banshee" has become a hit on Cinemax since the show made its debut in 2013.   
   However, season 4 will also be the last for the series and viewers will have   
   to say goodbye to the show in 2016.   
      
   Earlier this year, the show released its first trailer for the upcoming   
   season which features newcomer Eliza Dushku. The "Buffy The Vampire Slayer"   
   alum joins the show as Veronica Dawson, described by Variety as "a sexy but   
   shockingly reckless FBI profiler with no shortage of personal demons."   
      
   The 35-year-old is no stranger to playing tough characters who are dealing   
   with some emotional baggage. Her "Buffy" character, Faith, was a slayer with   
   issues who eventually decided to work for the bad guys. The actress' other   
   TV credits include playing the lead character on the futuristic drama   
   "Dollhouse," as well as the lead on "Tru Calling."   
      
   In a previous interview with TV Guide, executive producer Greg Yaitanes   
   promised fans that season 4 will be full of surprises as the show prepares   
   for its final run.   
      
   "As someone who's read the first three episodes of Season 4, I can tell you   
   that the first 10 minutes of Season 4 will have jaws on the floor," said   
   Yaitanes.   
      
   "Banshee" returns on Jan. 29 on Cinemax.
