   SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR DISHES ON HER ADORABLE KIDS AND LONGTIME FRIENDSHIP   
   WITH REESE WITHERSPOON AND SELMA BLAIR   
      
   As a working actress and mother of two, Sarah Michelle Gellar has her hands   
   full. So she's set up some house rules with husband Freddie Prinze Jr. to   
   ensure they spend quality time together.   
      
   "At meals there's a no-phone rule in our house," she told Hollywood Take at   
   an event promoting Swiffer's "Yes to the Mess." "Meals are where it all   
   happens. That's where you talk and connect with people."   
      
   Earlier this fall, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star started a baking   
   service called Foodstirs that delivers fresh ingredients and a simple recipe   
   to families' homes so they can cook together. The 38-year-old has since   
   shared many photos whipping up delicious-looking dishes with her two   
   children, 3-year-old son Rocky James and 6-year-old daughter Charlotte   
   Grace.   
      
   "Kids are into what their parents are into," she told us. "They just want to   
   be a part of it. They're sponges. They're ready to learn a new experience."   
      
   While Gellar is busy passing along her passions to her children, she tries   
   to find some quiet time, too. "I've learned to enjoy the small things," she   
   added. "Someone once said to me you know you're a parent when you're 20   
   minutes late to school because you're looking at a snail."   
      
   Gellar said her children have very different personalities. "It's different   
   raising each child," she added. "They're individuals." The blond beauty   
   recently shared a photo of her son's "artwork" — aka blue marker — all over   
   their white cabinets. Her daughter appears to be an up-and-coming Disney   
   princess-turned-rapper!   
      
   "It's not just about being a good parent," she noted. "It's about being a   
   good friend and a good co-worker." That's clear given her close bond with   
   Cruel Intentions co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair.

   The co-stars from the 1999 film remain close today and often have play dates   
   with their children. "You become close with the people you work with," she   
   said about her relationship with Witherspoon and Blair. "You create bonds   
   with people when you go through an experience."
