|    Emma Caulfied Coins a New Verb!    |

From: daviderl31@yahoo.com              http://www.melty.com/the-100-season-3-buffy-s-emma-caulfield-coi       s-the-verb-to-bellamy-a5408.html              The 100 Season 3: Buffy's Emma Caulfield coins the verb 'to Bellamy'              If somebody converted your name into a verb, what would it mean? Emma       Caulfield has begun using the verb 'to Bellamy', and its meaning is so       spot-on, it hurts.              Emma, of Buffy The Vampire Slayer fame, is a HUGE fan of The 100. Like, she       properly loves it. She even wrote a love letter to the show ahead of last       week's Season 3 finale (I know, why didn't we think of that?).              Anyway, with The 100 not set to return until January 2017, Caulfield's       letter has made big news on the social media sphere. Describing the way she       thought her husband was silly for watching such drivel, the actress admitted       that she became slowly but surely drawn in by the quirky humdrum of life in       Arkadia: "Somewhere between the bathroom and the sofa, I realized I had       become passively invested in this show and it was time to lean in."              And isn't it the same for all of us? A group of kids sent to earth to       "survive"? It just sounds like some low-budget CBBC rubbish. Alas, how wrong       we all were...              You can read the love letter in its entirety at Entertainment Weekly, but       before you check it out, we must draw attention to one small section of       Caulfield's ode; she turns Bellamy into an actual verb!              "Bellamy, Mr. American Apparel villain, turned hero, turned awesome, turned       possible quagmire," she begins. "The mess of him has been so pervasive, he       can be described as both an adjective and a verb.       BELLAMY:       Adjective: Destructive, confusing, and supremely disappointing, with no       apparent self-correct.       Verb: To suddenly and steadily implode. (Example: Everything was going great       on their first date until it BELLAMIED.)"              Have you ever read anything more perfect? This woman really gets Bellamy's       role in this show (and let's be honest, he's not the most accomplished       hero) - it's just so well written.              Caulfield concluded by promising that she is still "all in" with The 100       after that epic season finale: "Luckily, the miraculous course correction       that has taken place over these last few episodes ā and the pitch-perfect       finale ā fits with my fan vision, so Iām not going anywhere."       See you in January! Do you think Caulfield's description of Bellamy is apt?              [Obviously, if you have never seen the show, then the above will mean       nothing to you.       If you hate the show, then why were you still watching it?       If you love the show, as Emma does, then you know exactly what she is       talking about.              And to add my 2 cents worth - I think Bellamy should pay for letting Pike       kill Lincoln with a bullet to the head. And I think Octavia, Bellamy's       sister and Lincoln's lover, should put the hammer down on Bellamy, as in the       hammer of a pistol or long gun.]       .              http://daviderl.com/ .       http://daviderl31.blogspot.com/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
