   Buffy The Vampire Slayer Board Game Coming This October   
      
   It's time to return to Sunnydale.   
      
   Jasco Games and Lynnvander Studios are teaming up to bring you Buffy The   
   Vampire Slayer: The Board Game. Buffy is being designed by Thomas M. Gofton   
   (via ICv2), and will be a cooperative experience for 1 to 6 players that   
   will feature Buffy and a number of her allies defending Sunnydale.   
      
   You'll encounter vampires, demons, and all the other sorts of things that   
   make their home in Sunnydale, as they attempt to open the Hellmouth. All   
   that stands between them and their goal is you and the other players, so   
   working together will be paramount. Utilizing each character's unique   
   abilities will also be important, but as of now we don't know which   
   characters the roster will consist of.   
      
   Suffice to say, I would bet on characters like Willow, Xander, Giles, Tara,   
   Cordelia, Faith, and Angel making appearances in some form or fashion.   
   Hopefully, this will do well so I can get an Angel-centric expansion. I   
   would love to play a co-op game featuring Cordy, Angel, Charles (Gunn)   
   Wesley, Fred, and Lorne. Heck, I'd even throw the Groosalugg in just for   
   fun.   
      
   Getting a little ahead of myself, though. Back to Buffy.   
      
   While combat will be important, you'll also need to figure out who is behind   
   the plot, but they haven't announced any specific mechanics yet.   
      
   The game should be out this October.
