Hah! How could you tell? The actors got the fanboy questions spot on! :-D
Shatner later said he had felt like saying that to *some* of the more
   rabid fans.
In fact I would not be surprised to hear that he had a hand in writing
   the skit.

I have that 10 min clip saved on my computer, and it's still funny after
   a decade!

So far the "Buffers" aren't as bad as the "Trekkers", but if I had the
   chance to
ask her about a show she did last century I wouldn't be asking trivia
   questions.

That's why I thought of the SNL skit. The fanboys were asking Shatner if
he knew Kirk's locker combination. :-D

I would ask her about what went on behind the scenes, or how she felt
about the show ending. AH said she found out the show was over by
   reading celeb magazines!
