   I'm assuming "potential" refers to any girl who is athletic, mental   
   stability   
   doesn't seem to play a part. After the Slayer falls the next athletic   
   girl is   
   activated. IE, she suddenly has super strength and reflexes. Riley did say   
   that Buffy was, "Spider-Man strong." :-D

   Obviously it could not be only reaching a certain age (16?). There must   
   be a   
   need for a Slayer otherwise there would be many Slayers. And there is only   
   one at a time... which makes zero sense in the real world.

   That was my thought, also. They would need magic to locate them. And it's   
   odd they couldn't handle a rogue Slayer like Faith since they can use   
   magic.
