   At long last, shooting has begun on the Robert Mapplethorpe biopic being   
   produced by Watertown’s own Eliza Dushku.   
      
   Dushku, best known as the actress who played Faith in “Buffy the Vampire   
   Slayer,” has been trying for more than a decade to get the film about the   
   controversial photographer made.   
      
   Tuesday, she posted a pic of a clapper — the thing movie folks clap after   
   they yell “Action!” — and captioned the photo: “Day 1 #M   
   pplethorpe.” The   
   photo was taken at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
