   As the show went on the writers forgot or abandoned original concepts.   
   We had Julie Benz character "Darla" being resurrected as a human who   
   wanted to be a vampire again.   
      
   However they said in season one that vamps and humans are two   
   different entities. So there's no way Darla could want to be a vamp as   
   it was a totally separate being and she wouldn't have its memories.
