   That part of the lore is wide-spread, but not accurate.   
      
   There's this piece of dialog where some character expounds this in front   
   of Angel, that the vampire is 100% different from the former human.   
      
   And you really see Angel hesitate, start saying "actually..." (pause) and   
   finish "you're right".   
      
   100% unconvincing. It's really obvious that Angel almost came clean, but   
   decided that this specific lie was to his advantage.
