I was thinking of that ep when I wrote that (it's one of the very best
in the series, along with "The Wish") and what I'm talking about is
   vampire-to-human, while you're talking about human-to-vampire.

   1. a human becomes a vamp: an evil spirit takes over their body, their
general personality traits, and their basic memories. But the spirit
   adds monster elements.

   2. vamp becomes a human: girl is cloned from a vamp (which is a separate
being) so should not have it's memories.
