|    '9-1-1' Storyline Too Racy for CC    |

From: daviderl31@yahoo.com              https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2455125/one-9-1-1-plot-wa       -too-r-rated-for-network-censors              Charisma Carpenter was supposed to appear in an upcoming episode of Fox's       9-1-1. Well, now the show will have to regroup in order to bring the actress       on the series via a new storyline, because the one she was supposed to be in       has been deemed too R-rated by Fox's Standards and Practices. In today's age       of Grey's Anatomy and other medical dramas, you may be wondering what       storyline could have given Fox pause. Well, this is it.              Explaining the situation, 9-1-1 showrunner Tim Minear told TVLine that the       story involved Carpenter's lover dying on top of her while under the       influence of Viagra, leaving the pair stuck together.              Despite a case similar in nature being shown on the CBS medical drama Code       Black, Fox did not give 9-1-1 the all-clear to move forward on the racy       episode. In fairness, Tim Minear did say 9-1-1's take differed from the CBS       series', though he did not elaborate on the logistical variances. Medical       shows tend to be given a lot of leeway when it comes to the graphic nature       of the content presented.              The good news for Charisma Carpenter fans is that 9-1-1's showrunner has       vowed to have her back on the show when he finds the right thing for her.              David              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
