   Did Armin actually play any credible non gnome-like character ?   
   On DS9, he was such a good Ferenghi.   
      
   And his short foray into Stargate was 100% non credible.   
      
   I haven't seen his other roles.

   I recommend looking up what Amber has been up to since then. Even her   
   independent movie, Chance, is a pure joy.   
      
   And it's also so darkly funny that she acts opposite  Adam Bush on her   
   web series.
