   10 Best Gifts for BTVS/Angel Fans (2/2)
   20 Mar 19 17:24:52

   [continued from previous message]

The episode has been screened in fan viewings since, with a Rocky
Horror-esque participation level and enthusiasm. A must-see from the series,
your Buffy fan will surely be excited by this gift.

   2. 20 YEARS OF SLAYING: THE WATCHER'S GUIDE
This is a hardcover, special anniversary edition of the Watcher's
guides, which were released starting during the original airing of the show.
It's a curated compilation, including favorite content from The Watcher's
Guides Volumes 1-3. This book acts as a "best-of" overall, rather than an
actual full collection of the original volumes.
As a bonus, exclusive interviews with the cast and crew are included
in this edition, conducted for the publication of this book in particular.
The pages are black and white and include photos and stills from the series.
This is a great addition to a bookshelf, especially next to a grimoire!

   1. BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: A PICTURE BOOK
In this picture book, aimed at younger readers, Buffy appears as a
young child, rather than her age as it was at the start of the TV series.
Young Buffy is friends with little versions of Willow and Xander, and is a
bit less brave than she grew up to be (though still doing a great job of
dealing with monsters and scary noises). The character of Giles also appears
as the school librarian for these little ones, doling out advice and
   support.
Unlike the show, the art in this book is bright and cheery, much
more of a lighthearted, childlike approach to the Buffy-verse. A great gift
for a fan who is now a parent - something for them to read to their child
that is within their own fandom as well.
