|    Sarah Not Interested in ''Buffy'' Reboot    |

From: daviderl31@yahoo.com              https://etcanada.com/news/524579/sarah-michelle-gellar-is-not-in       erested-in-a-buffy-reboot/              Sarah Michelle Gellar Is Not Interested In A ‘Buffy’ Reboot       By RANDI MANN.              In an interview with Buzzfeed News, Sarah Michelle Gellar opens up about her       late-’90s show “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”.              Last year, it was rumoured that the series may have a reboot in production.       But on Wednesday, Gellar, who starred on the hit drama series in her early       20s, confirms that she is not involved in any reboot and says she’s not       interested in one as she’s “not an adolescent anymore.”              And it turns out Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr.’s 10-year-old       daughter Charlotte isn’t so keen on her parents’ early work. Gellar shares:       “The other day we were flipping channels and ‘I Know What You Did Last       Summer’ came on, my daughter looked for a couple of seconds and she was       like, ‘Mom, is that you? Is that Dad? Is that Deacon’s [Ryan Phillippe’s       son] dad?'” Adding, “And then I was like, ‘Oh, you should watch! The       first       five minutes is all you can see,’ and she was like, ‘No, ‘Harry       Potter”s       on.'”              As for a “Buffy” reboot, the title star says, “I think that reboots are       great to introduce someone to a story that maybe they don’t know, to       characters they don’t know,” but clarifying, “I think the amazing thing       about Buffy’s legacy is that people are still watching and discovering and       it still resonates. The fact that it’s still important to people, it sort of       means that it lives on its own. That being said, if you have more story to       tell, that’s great. I don’t feel that I do.”              ALSO -              Though Gellar won’t reprise “Buffy”, the actor is back on TV with her       show       “Other People’s Houses”, which is based on Abbi Waxman’s homonymous       book.              She has signed on to star in "Other People's Houses", in development at       Fox. Described as "a suburban dramedy, somewhere between 'Big Little Lies'       and 'Catastrophe'," the former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star will play one       of several people living in an affluent Los Angeles neighborhood. "Using the       lens of social media, our characters navigate their way through emotional       ups and downs, as they try to figure out their lives as partners, parents,       friends, and neighbors." — NINA PROMMER/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock                     David              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
