   Yes it is good, and I do like it better.   
   I think it's actually an "Easter egg" for the RD fans.   
   Although imho, kneeing death in the nuts has a certain appeal too.

   The strange thing about that for me was, in the last model shot where   
   Starbug is destroyed, it was impossible to tell, just which Starbug it   
   was.  So why did they have to do all that trip about changing   
   dimensions, when it was finely sort of continued?
