   Thats what I thought about the new episodes.  Didn't hate 'em, didn't   
   love 'em.  The soul of Red Dwarf seems to have been lost.   
      
   I didn't find it all that funny.  The dialogue wasn't that well written.   
      
   I really didn't like series 7 (allthough some eps did grow on me)... I   
   thought season 8 was a little better.  I'm not sure what I think of this.   
      
   It would seem they got out of the season 8 finale, by referencing a   
   missing Season 9 which we've never seen.   
      
   So if they ever did get another season, would they go back and write   
   that season 9, backing themselves into a corner?  Or just leave it a   
   mystery season.. and make a season 10 (I think they should just make a   
   season 10.  They ditched kochanski, the rest of the crew and they're on   
   red dwarf again.. its a good starting point).   
      
   I don't really think we'll get a whole other series though, which makes   
   we wish they'd of used this series as a finale tieing up all those lose   
   ends.   
      
   Not sure if I think they should make another series.. it'd be sweet if   
   they could get Rob Grant on board.. I think the show sorely misses him.
