   I've just spent the time between Christmas and now, re-watching the   
   eight series' of Red Dwarf. This begs the question in me...   
      
   Where did they come from....and why didn't they come from the same place???   
      
   In Series Eight, the Red Dwarf has been re-constituted by the nanobots,   
   re-constituted to such an extent the all the Humans have been re-created   
   as well!   
      
   Well, almost all the Humans! If there was DNA left on the Red Dwarf to   
   enable the re-creating of the Captain, the First Officer, Rimmer, all   
   the prisoners of the thirteenth floor, etc., etc., how come there is no   
   DNA of Lister's or Kochanski's left to re-create new versions of them???
