Or perhaps it's just bloody lazy writing.              But that's in following with the entire show. The cat never stopped       talking about his clothing... The clothing jokes were a mainstay. It       would feel wrong if he didn't bitch about things being done to his       clothes and hair.              It seems weird to me that people would expect it to stray from what it       was before because if it did, then we would have had complaints about it       being a different show. That diving suit that cat had was classically       over the top (and kudos to Danny John Jules for being able to carry that       off still).              > Given the re-use of old jokes, I really should have realised that an       > old plot line would be re-used and should have seen the despair squid       > storyline coming and reaslised that the whole thing was a       > hallucination.              I'm just overjoyed that Dwayne Dibbly didn't show up... that would have       sent me screaming.              > You got the 'Bladerunner' references too?       > Well done, I was congratulating myself on spotting those subtle       > nuances teasingly woven into the plot line.....              I thought that was really fun too.                     --       Starbugaboo              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
