   I heard that.  I'm stoked about new eps but back to earth was meh....   
      
   There were eps I liked in season 6.. the one where rimmer becomes ace   
   rimmer was solid.  Some stuff I liked in season 8.   
      
   I think it'd be cool if they just skipped season 9.. it'd be kind of a   
   dwarf thing to do (like the drastic change and scroll of info at the   
   beginning of series 3).   
      
   Which if they continue after back to earth, would be   
   cat/kryten/rimmer/lister on red dwarf which we haven't season since   
   series 5.   
      
   I'm a little worried about the budget, as back to earth did like kind   
   budget with all the cheap cgi.. like they couldn't even afford to   
   construct sets.   
      
   I guess I'm hopelessly optimtistic about a new season.
