   It was never intended as serious SF. It's a sitcom in space, and a very   
   funny one (for five years).   
      
   Beside Red Dwarf and Star Trek: Lower Decks, are there any other SF   
   sitcoms? Futurama, I guess. Krapopolis probably counts.
