   I hate to say it, but that's what I think. I still avidly watch each   
   new episode ASAP, but it's not the same anymore, and I must admit I   
   usually prefer the new Family Guy episode.   
      
   Well over half the Season 20 episodes were good. Maybe a third of the   
   Season 21 episodes were. Since then good episodes have been few and   
   far between.   
      
   It gives me no joy to point this out. For a long time, I disagreed   
   with people claiming the show had declined in any meaningful way. I   
   don't go along with "Season 10 onwards was rubbish". I think many of   
   the Scully episodes were great...it's a cartoon, so if it's sometimes   
   "unrealistic" (within reason) in order to help the story along then   
   who cares? I think Season 16 was very strong (I rewatch episodes from   
   that season quite often), and the intervening seasons were great as   
   well. There was probably a slight decline between 16 and 20, but   
   nothing too bad...still plenty of decent, memorable episodes which are   
   fun to watch with people. Then as I say, Season 21 was significantly   
   worse, and 22 worse still, and since then it's usually been a desert.   
      
   Clearly YMMV. But does anyone else think (roughly) the same as me? Is   
   there any realistic hope that there will ever be an improvement? Who   
   should be brought back? When will (new episodes of) this show make me   
   laugh out loud again? I want answers now or I want them eventually!
