Fairly enjoyed this episode. It just seemed to be firing on all
cylinders most of the time, what with the storylines and the style of
jokes, etc. I wish it weren't so damn short though. There wasn't room
for anything else? Maybe explaining what Ned's parents were doing
there?? (Did they appear recently? I fear I'm forgetting something.)
Or building up a little more reason for Ned to throw the first punch?
   Anyway, to be brief:

   Previous episode stuff
   9F04: King Homer in opening
7F19: Pretty decent plot with Lisa's substitute
AABF03, BABF07, 2F15: A few episodes that come to mind with the
   corporate-slanted school lessons
   BABF04: Ned sans moustache
   8F15: Mr. Testicles, Mr. Glasscock

Miss Cantwell's license plate is RABF09.
Homer remarks on Marge's murmurs (which she denies making)
(reminiscent also of clips in 1F05).
Homer seems to be aware of the way the last act break will work
   ("wanting" Edna).

   Hmm
The name "Miss Cantwell" sounds really familiar. Was that already used
for a teacher on the show? My memory is going and I can't dig through
   notes right now.

   Fun with airdates
Tonight's new American Dad was titled "For Black Eyes Only" (7AJN22),
and it immediately preceded this episode.
