"You know the wall or you don't."
What is that even supposed to mean?

Many people don't know the titles but a hell of a lot more know the
titles or can identify the episode from the title than a bunch of
letters and numbers. Sure the production numbers have a meaning and a
use but if you want to let people know what you're talking about (and I
assume you do) you use either both the production number AND the title.
And if you only choose one use the title. Expecting people to know the
episode from the production number alone is ridiculous and rather
pompous ("Ooh I know what I'm talking about and I know you don't.")
