You're the one with the attitude. You think you're being so scholarly
by talking in (production) code when anyone and his brother could look
up the code if he wanted. The fact is for the past 50+ years to this
day anyone referring to an episode of a TV series does so by mentioning
the title. If a person doesn't know the episode well enough to know by
the title he certainly won't know by the production code. Again, more
people would recognize the title than the production code. I'm talking
of the normal viewer here, not anal fanatics like you, Don Del Grande
(Is that a real name or did it come from a porn star?) and the guy who
insists on calling the series OFF (presuming that there is no other
family on TV we may like better). And again, I assume you want to
provide information to the group. Better information can be given by
the title. Sorry, this is a fact.

And no, I still don't know what the wall of plaques mean. I don't
generally watch reruns of episodes I've already seen and I certainly
don't have the time or inclination to continually watch 500+ episodes
that I've already seen. I'm a fan not a fanatic. But there would be a
better chance of my recognizing the episode from the title than from the
code which I would always have to look up to see what episode it
   referred to.
