From: mxg77@po.cwru.edu              A pretty solid election-themed episode. Interestingly, the way Isabel was       introduced (and not just from the anagrams) I initially wondered if we were in       for a plot more like 1F17 (Lisa's Rival), but only briefly. (The fact that       Ralph appeared to be a        third candidate in the race is funnier with that in mind.)                     DYN:       ...Lisa's search result apparently comes from "wiccapedia" (for no obvious       reason)?       ...Homer uses the phrase "the boy" to refer to Milhouse too?       ...Springfield IsabelAmentary instead of -ementary?       ...Terry Harrington gets on-screen credit for playing Lisa's sax (maybe a       first)?              Previous episode stuff       7F19: Mr. Bergstrom seen (FABF09: silly callback to his impact on Lisa),       though why he would be conspiring to thwart her vegetarianism is beyond me       (also the whole class election plot, as it happens)       8F06: Trying unsuccessfully to buy a little girl off with a giant sundae at       Phineas Q. Butterfat's       HABF05: BOMBARDMENT!       9F18, 7G02, movie, BABF07: Willie's stored banners refer to Whacking Day,       Bart's genius episode, the dome, and Funzos - an interesting assortment              Meta       -Maggie doesn't have Play-Doh, but Play-(Annoyed Grunt)       -Isabel explains the meaning of "ay caramba" to Bart              Goof?       Did Isabel say "wheelbarrel" of ice cream (instead of wheelbarrow)??              Finally       The opening cartoon has to be based on the 1935 Disney short "Music Land",       with anthropomorphic instruments and a feud between musical styles (including       jazz!).              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
