   Some recent reference here to the Australian episode made me think of him.   
      
   As I recall, he had the transplant, and returned here afterwards, but it   
   was a relatively short stay.   
      
   I have no idea, but I always assumed that the need for the transplant made   
   him give thought to his life and he decided this wasn't important anymore.   
   Maybe he even said something afterwards which I don't remember other than   
   some vague thought.   
      
   But it wsa now some time back.  I cant' remember when, but I'm losing   
   track of time on Usenet.  When the tenth anniversary of "Firefly" came up   
   in rec.arts.tv a few years ago, I couldn't believe it had been ten years,   
   or that I'd been reading that newsgroup that long, it just doesn't seem so   
   long.
