Not too bad, especially with the glimpse of a competent and beloved Homer, and
the return of mystery-solving Bart and Lisa, as well as a chance for Marge to
shine. Fell apart a little near the end as the actual solution was a little
   silly and I didn't
really care about the kid, but otherwise, seems about right for a Selman
episode (and fairly long too). And har har, no one knows what tube TVs are
   anymore.

   DYN:
...Lisa has a can of Stan Getz saxophone polish?
...one might say what Nelson cooked, judging by the sound, is a "crunchy frog"?

   Previous episode stuff
9F21: Dr. Dolittle was quoted in song in that episode
2F09: "Children can be so cruel" similar to a line there
SABF16: Bender safe may be a permanent fixture in the house now
3F24: Marge's upgraded her estimation of spices if not her actual knowledge
(and the spice rack also comes into play in a festival atmosphere)
8F09: BBQ fantasy and its music somewhat reminiscent of the Land of Chocolate
3F05, FABF15: Muu muu and Pie Man outfit among the attic clothes seen
1F16: "To try is to fail" reminiscent of "the lesson is never try" speech (and
according to that episode capsule, there's a similar piece of wisdom in 8F03)

   Meta
Marge's license plate is still EP7G08 (see TABF07, TABF14 for example), so I
am guessing that's what it is for good (to go with Homer's longer-established
   1PHL07).
