From: mxg77@po.cwru.edu              Cute story overall and I generally enjoyed the flow of it. The sports part was       not as big as I anticipated, so it's certainly no 2F05 or 5F03, but it was       well done. Also enjoyed the orange slice runner, Homer's higher level of       competence and fun        snarkiness, the Neutrino name joke, etc. That's not surprising, once again,       for a Selman episode (neither is its higher length, 3 act structure, etc.).                     DYN:       ...Kirk's broken hand/wrist seems to be inconsistent (it looks like left when       he breaks it, right later on, and left at the end)?       ...the XPOsition AM radio station has a logo depicting "laying pipe"?       ...the strip club has a "pole tax" (poll tax)?              Previous episode stuff       SABF10: a Strupo poster in the hotel room (that was also a Selman ep)              Kevin Curran       This longtime writer of the show died about 2 weeks ago, and predictably,       especially since this is the next episode (new or old) broadcast since, there       is a short dedication between the bulk of the end credits and the Gracie logo:       a toonish fullscreen        depiction of him, and the caption "IN LOVING MEMORY OF KEVIN CURRAN". Don't       expect that to remain for any other airings, but keep your eyes open anyway.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
