From: mxg77@po.cwru.edu              I think I'm back on EP Selman's side. Pretty good topical-but-timeless concept       mixed with our own characters' actual problems. Stayed focused, was funny       enough, etc. His typical 3 acts but at least closer to long. I also enjoyed       the subtlety about "fake"        vs. "real" awards and achievements in the trueness of the "You're the Best       Around" montage music.              DYN:       ...the rumpus room is seen?       ...the first GRIT slide uses Arial but the second (and thereafter) uses       Helvetica?              Meta       Lisa has a blackboard punishment again (Everybody's a winner), and Bart gets a       second in the same episode (I did nothing wrong this week).              Previous episode stuff in couch gag       Here is what I noticed in the couch gag. Along with series regulars Santa's       Little Helper and Snowball II, plus Mr. Teeny and Jub Jub, I saw...       Stampy (1F15)       Mr. Nibbles (CABF06)       Santa's Little Helper's puppies (2F18)       Laddie (4F16)       Duncan (BABF09)       Spider Pig (Movie)       Iguanas from 5F22       Lisa's hamster from 9F14       Screamapillar (DABF16)       Pinchy (AABF03)       But I can't quite place a few others. A pigeon and snake might be to go with       the iguanas from 5F22. Another dog, a large calf of some sort, and a raccoon?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
