   Well, I'm glad I just happened to be recording the entire block last night to   
   check out later. The third airing of WABF06 (8/27/17, 8 pm) replaced the   
   opening (25 seconds) with a special new one dedicated to the 8/21 eclipse (I'm   
   not sure why they didn't    
   do one on 8/20 - maybe they did and I missed it).   
      
   It's about the same length. It just has Homer on a lawn chair with bandages   
   over his eyes:   
   Homer: For all you watching the eclipse, a few words of warning...   
   Marge (os): It's too late! It's over!   
   Homer: Do not look at the eclipse directly! A beer bottle is not an acceptable   
   filter.   
   (Bart is seen spray painting "Loser" on Homer's shirt.)   
   Homer: Nor does the beer make a good eyewash. Oh God, I won't see the end of   
   Game of Thrones! Nooooo!   
   (Regular TV credits.)   
      
   So, that happened. And I'm sure you'll never see it again in any official way.
