   It started at about the same time in DC, or perhaps a minute or two
   later, also due to a football game (I don't know whether it was the
   same one) that had ended before 8:00.

   Once the game ends, they should know how delayed the following shows
   are. Why won't they mention it on the bottom of the screen, or on
   their website, or on their phone line? It would cost nothing, and
   keep millions of watchers from being really pissed off, or even
   turning off the TV for the night rather than watching random crap for
   an unknown period until Fox deigns to show what they had promised to
   show at 8 pm. Alternatively, they could show it on time on one of
   their subchannels. So what if the resolution is a little lower;
   it's a cartoon.

   This crap annoyed me, and millions of others, half a century ago.
   You'd think they'd have solved it by now. Indeed, it's one of the
   main reasons why I've watched so little TV for the past 40 years.

   I see that there won't be another episode until January 7th. Will
   the football season be over by then? Thanks.
