A premise with some promise (not only Ned's overall career trouble, but his
finding an apparently permanent new job as substitute teacher), especially
with his connection to Edna that I must say I nearly forgot until her picture
   came up. The plot overall
was fine, but the little moments were horrid. (It's very weird, also, that
Homer's lunchtime-is-God's-lunchtime theory gets confirmed and then later he
feels God's on a 7-hour time difference.) Todd and Lisa's subplot was odd and
   could have had more.
Anyway, good for Ned, not great for us. Title was a little bland but I
appreciate the very subtle nod to Ned's handedness.

   Previous episode stuff
   LABF04, summer-2017-PSA-inserted-on-WABF06 repeat: Eclipse injuries
Movie: Ned's deluxe cocoa scene is very close to the one there (not quite as
elaborate) (he also specifically mentions fishing and church with Bart)
7F22: Burns and blood donations (not that the type matches anymore)
LABF15: The voice clip of Marcia Wallace as Edna seems to be taken from this
   episode

   Goof:
Ned's HR blackboard spells HARASSMENT with two Rs (HARRASSMENT). I wonder if
   that'll get fixed.

   Meta:
Among various little things, Homer seems to have a hundred or so of the
   opening sequence's rods-stuck-on-his-back left over.

   Coincidence:
Tonight's new Bob's Burgers (Boywatch, 7ASA11) has Tina going out for
lifeguarding with very poor swimming skills.
