   Yeah, I missed it.  My local Fox affiliate decided to preempt the   
   entire episode with the local weather team announcing that there were   
   severe thunderstorms in our area.  For half an hour.  Like the radar   
   graphic and scrolling textbar at the top of the screen that they then   
   ran all through the rest of the evening wouldn't have been good   
   enough.   
      
   Even worse, the local NBC channel did the same instead of showing the   
   last half of the third period of a Stanley Cup playoff game.  I've   
   never seen a live sports broadcast get preempted like that.  Good   
   thing I'm not a Blues or Sharks fan, I guess.
