   The idea of another school system that doesn't quite work or is run with   
   ulterior motive is solid. I didn't think the execution quite was, especially   
   the resolution (the elder care bit makes no sense and the meltdown is silly),   
   but I guess I'll live.    
   Homer's misguided drive against automation at work (the soda machine) was   
   actually a little better than the main story. Surprised it's a Selman.

   ...it's implied that librarian and taxi driver are jobs that will be lost to   
   automation (when that's not really a direct cause for their decline)?

   I'm really surprised that there was no dedication to Kirk Douglas, who died on   
   February 5 at age 103. You know, Hollywood legend, and voice of the real Itchy   
   and Scratchy creator Chester J. Lampwick (3F16, The Day the Violence Died)?   
   This is the first    
   new episode since then, but I also confirmed that no dedication appeared in   
   either of the two network repeats between then and now. Huh.
