From: mxg77@po.cwru.edu              Not too shabby, although expectations are usually different for a historical       episode of this sort that doesn't need to make too much sense. The title, on       top of annoying me with its misspelling (surely it should be I, Carambus),       seems a little odd, since        even though Bart does take on the mantle of emperor, it's mostly Homer's       story. Why not go even closer with "I, Clod-ius"? Let me also point out that a       vomitorium is not... that. Anyway, fairly enjoyable, educational as well (I'd       never heard of this "The        Roman Holidays" cartoon), and nearly modern full length to boot (though it       also ran to 8:32!).              DYN:       ...rated TV-14-DLSV? (For what specifically, violence, brief mention of       orgies?)       ...Carl still has his voice (could this be a production order thing)?       ...Michael Palin as the museum curator/guide (I didn't!)?              Previous episode stuff       9F07: A pretty good reference to "Obesius" as "Mr. Plow" in reference to his       actual plowing past              Copyright shmopyright       Something seemed funny about the copyright screen in the credits last week as       it flashed by, but I forgot to take a closer look until the same thing       happened tonight. I've finally taken that look. It appears that starting this       (air) season, the copyright        belongs to "20th Television" instead of "TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX FILM       CORPORATION", and with some condensation and mixed case it's shrunk to a       lighter-looking one line under the production code instead of three.       I looked back a little further, and only now do I realize that the legalese in       the bottom third of the screen has been shortened as of the beginning of (air)       season 30, in fall 2018, to remove a few lines about TCF being the author of       the show for        purposes of copyright etc. I suppose at least one of these things is due to       the Disney merger.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
