From: mxg77@po.cwru.edu              Pretty good, though as a former bright yet difficult student I admit I am       biased from a history of similar moments with teachers. Odd pacing to the       episode, but it wasn't bothersome, the family dynamic seemed to work, and that       classic world outlook        seemed to be returning a bit too. It even made me forget about the truly       painful-to-watch "Wild Wild West" parody during Lisa's presentation. (The       credits montage of other class projects was also one of the best such things,       not feeling lazy or        uninspired.)              DYN:       ...Lisa's classroom has a polar bear poster that reads "a warmer planet's cool       with me" (who's funding this school, big oil?)?       ...a direct reference to buying and selling weed is fine for TV-PG now - what       have all the recent 14 ratings been given for anyway?              Previous episode stuff       CABF14: Marge's "breakfast!" call very similar, though much longer now       8F23: Life-changing vibrating chair not dissimilar       9F21: Yale Glee Club coda 10 years in the future sings to the tune of "Baby on       Board"                     Why even bother?       With another late-running football game, the 7:00 repeat of ZABF18 was joined       in progress even later than last week's 23-minute silliness: 7:25! With the       short NABF21 opening as usual, it got only 2 minutes of the show, almost half       of which was the        closing credits. I question the wisdom of this, but on the other hand, it did       let me see that the airing was *not* compressed, so it seems wonders will       never cease.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
