   OK episode as future tales go, although the points (of not necessarily   
   assigning imperative status to college, and of the not-quite-titular   
   reconciliation) were a little buried. My expectations for these have been low   
   since season 11.

   BABF13: Several things seem to connect directly to this continuity, including   
   Lisa as president and the implication of who she follows (though now it seems   
   to imply that that particular officeholder got back in), although pot *is*   
   legal in this version    
   of Bart bursting into the Oval Office   
   5F02: The Fly transport pod lookalikes between back yards seem to be the same   
   as in this TOH   
   AABF03: SVT's dramatic repetition of "Brown--Brown--Brown" (the university)   
   sounds quite familiar, though it may not actually be an intended callback

   Springfield is in a strangely-shaped state in the plains, and George   
   Stephanopolous clearly mumbles his way through naming it   
      
   In loving memory   
   People are just dropping like flies! Tonight, we honor Olympia Dukakis, who   
   died last week and lent her voice to the show in season 13, with a screenshot   
   from DABF09 (The Old Man and the Key).   
      
   In apathetic not-quite-so-much memory   
   Two recent reruns dropped their dedications: the 4/25 airing of QABF06 (Wad   
   Goals), which originally honored Marc Wilmore, and the 5/2 airing of QABF08   
   (Do Pizza Bots...), which first ran with a nod to David Richardson (both   
   behind-the-scenes guys    
   primarily).   
      
   Bills to pay, dead-end job, problems with the wife   
   Or the first, anyway: two different recent reruns got time compressed by about   
   30 seconds, just enough to sell one more commercial...   
   QABF07 airing 2, 4/25 at 8:00(!), while the 7:00 rerun that night ran   
   full-length (both originally clocked in at about 21:30)   
   QABF10 airing 2 tonight, 5/9 at 7:00, down from about 21:40
