   I really ought to see The Third Man one of these days, because I have learned   
   much of its iconic imagery but get the sense I could understand more (both   
   here and in other references/homages). Actually, based on the number of   
   references, I'm surprised the    
   title wasn't one too. And it was not a bad episode from a story/character   
   point of view.
