   Fine. As much as I enjoy nuanced character motivations and things, this seemed   
   like an overly big counter-swing for Bart, getting all whiny and fretful,   
   though the conscience pangs and crush were decent ideas. It also felt like   
   just an extended    
   introduction for a new recurring character as opposed to a real episode plot.   
   The less said about Lisa's magic octopus the better.   
      
   Meta: blackboard punishment (and its role under Mrs. K) at end.   
      
      
   For what it's worth: here, the 7:00 repeat of UABF06 was joined in progress at   
   7:10 (following the standard abbreviated NABF21 opening at 7:08), almost a   
   minute into act 2. The race was over at 6:44, which would leave plenty of time   
   for any sane network    
   to wrap up coverage AND get in lots of ads by the end of the allotted time,   
   but this is nothing new.
