   Pleasant sort of medium episode with basic character story, and a   
   not-overdone dynamic with Patty and Selma. But the rules of how Homer's   
   "death" affected things in his subplot (and especially the climax)   
   really seemed inconsistent...

   Tonight's airing featured a dedication, in the usual spot, to   
   golden-years writer Dan McGrath, with a caricature. He died suddenly   
   about 2 weeks ago. And as usual, don't expect to see it again.   
      
   ...one out   
   The 7:30 second airing of 36ABF13 (Thrifty Ways to Thieve Your Mother),   
   the season premiere, ran without the original dedication to Alf Clausen.
