Maybe that's it Vic. When I settle in to watch a new South Park episode, I
have no idea what to expect but I always have an expectation of good things.
Sometimes I feel quite let down, although a second look usually restores my
   faith.

In many ways, the newer South Park episodes seem to lack a bit of substance
(Lice Capades is a perfect example), but they also have a depth that the
earlier episodes didn't have. I'm a contradictory bastard at times. All I
know is that I never want South Park to end.
