   Yup, the entire theory is based on random events either being rewarded   
   or punished.

   A scary proposition, which is why humanity has been creating God images   
   since we began walking upright. Since science can never explain why or   
   by whom the universe was created, it's a fertile ground for humanity's   
   speculation.   
      
   I choose to believe in an all-powerful creator because it gives events   
   around me some sort of purpose. But defining this creator is an exercize   
   in futility and believing one group's version over another to the point   
   of intolerance and even outright violence is silly in the extreme.
