   On a brighter note, I just bought a DVD player that plays DivX and XVid.   
   Now I just have to burn the avi files to the DVD instead of converting them   
   to DVD format (which takes a couple of hours).  It's much more enjoyable   
   watching the new episodes on the TV rather than the PC, not least for the   
   comfy chair.
