   I had a job interview a couple of days ago and the head of the interview   
   panel was impressed with my Eric Cartman socks.  Unfortunately my mobile   
   phone rang three times during the interview (the fucker never rings usually,   
   so I didn't even think to turn it off) and the man with the money was also   
   very impressed with Terrance and Phillip singing about chicken and ham each   
   time it rang.  Needless to say, I got the job!!   
      
   The second half of season 12 hasn't gotten off to a great start.  The China   
   Probrem was a bit disturbing with the various rape scenes (Indiana Jones   
   being raped by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas a la The Accused,   
   Deliverance, and something else that I didn't actually pick up on), although   
   Breast Cancer Show Ever wasn't too bad.  Wendy Testaburger beating the crap   
   out of Eric Cartman with Principal Victoria's blessing was actually quite   
   enjoyable.   
      
   In a strange twist of irony...   
      
   * my mother has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer   
   * she had an operation for same a couple of weeks ago   
   * she's having a mastectomy tomorrow   
   * I'm currently in a short contract with the Queensland Cancer Registry   
   * the latest episode of South Park was about breast cancer.   
      
   Prior to a couple of months ago, my only exposure to breast cancer was when   
   I had a quick chat with Jane McGrath about 5½ years ago - obviously not   
   about her affected region though.
