   I know, I was trying to have fun by making the obvious excuse.   
      
   The ultimate problem is that TV networks are businesses, and you can't   
   count on them to be as edgy as the creative people. It's easy to tout   
   yourself as pushing boundaries until someone pushes back, and then   
   compromises end up being made. A TV commercial saying "we have the   
   biggest balls" is not an open-ended guarantee, it's just a marketing   
   tool.
