   conflict, strife, figthing, wars etc. throughout the history of human

   Not to mention European Christians, Asian Christians, African

   who are responsible for their share of atrocities, wars, genocide and   
   murder.

   No religion in itself is a religion of peace or of anything, you idiot.   
   It is the religious followers who make it whatever it is. Islam happens   
   to include a number of extremists with access to weapons and an axe to   
   grind, but so does every other religion. When this gets mixed up in   
   politics, the results are obvious. Timothy McVeigh, Hitler, Mussolini,   
   as well as any head of any imperial state who presided over the   
   genocidal policies in the Third World were all Christians - geez, I
