   That is really sad news.   
      
   I first heard Dio singing Love Is All (At The Butterfly Ball) in the   
   mid-70's, not long before he sang with Blackmore's Rainbow, and his   
   performance on The Butterfly Ball was brilliant.  The Rainbow stuff was   
   great, and demonstrated his incredible range and ability.  I wasn't so   
   enamoured by his Sabbath stuff (although they were the only Sabbath albums I   
   ever bought) although his solo efforts (of which I bought none) still   
   showcased his enormous talent.   
      
   Above all, Ronnie was a very genuine and humble man.  I'll miss him and his   
   music.   
      
   RIP Ronnie James Dio.  Hooked On Monkey Phonics just won't seem the same now   
   that you're gone...
