XPost: alt.startrek.cardassian, rec.sport.pro-wrestling       From: BillV2320@webtv.net              i DO NOT subscribe to the theory that the revamped Star Trek has erased       all future after Neros attack on the KELVIN. so, effectively all TOS,       STNG, DS9 and VOYAGER are 'gone"?       No way, time to break out your old 'divergent timelines' theory.       On to it: i wish they had gone into more details on the surrender       ceremony we saw on DS9 and what the terms of armistice were. Did the       Dominion skedaddle back through the wormhole and pledge never to enter       the Alpha Quadrant again? the initial Cardassian force the dominion sent       was only an expeditionary force after all and would hardly be a drop in       the bucket in total dominion resources.       What about the terms of surrender on the cardassians? it seems that, for       a while at least, they are washed up as a major power in the quadrant.       what were the klingon and romulan terms in the overall armistice?       and, if you take it that events in STNG time continue after Romulus gets       blown up, well i guess that finishes the romulans as power players in       the alpha quadrant too.              These are the coats we wear.       Of Devils plaid, and Witches Hair!       With a hood, or a belt, or a sleeveless one.       Doesn't count,       that's a vest called a jerkin.       Uh......we're all wearin' Jackets.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
