   I have been watching the TOS episodes on Netflix in broadcast order.  By   
   Episode 21 of the first season Lt. Uhura has taken the Helm on no less than   
   three occasions.   
      
   It seems pretty clear that no matter what others may think she was quite   
   well treated by the writers on the original series.   
      
   What do you all think of that?
