   Up till now I had a grim fascination with it, thinking that just playing the   
   odds of probability, they might come up with a decent episode by random   
   chance. But no.   
      
   Another problem with it is that, even if they didn't have all woke leftist   
   social justice messaging, it's essentially just boring. It's kids going to   
   college. There's no exploration, no galactic political and diplomatic   
   minefields to deal with, no deadly enemies to overcome, not even any space   
   travel or starships. They're on earth going to school. How in the hell is that   
   STAR TREK?
